Shoe and Handbag Designer Sarah Freels’ connection to fashion began in Los Angeles over 20 years ago in the fabric industry. She started her career working for Fabric Enterprises/Fashion Fabrics of America. Her love of textiles and color parlayed itself into a flair for fashion design.
Sarah returned to school attending the prestigious Academy of Arts College in San Francisco in 1996. After 2 years, she continued her fashion education at the American University of Rome in Italy. In addition she found work in Rome as a freelance fashion designer for 3 years. After returning to California, Sarah continued freelance fashion design work which ultimately provided the inspiration and expertise to create her first line of merchandise – Betties
